Belle
4yo 19.1 HH Percheron Mare
Belle is the definition of gentle giant! This sweet mare has the kindest eyes that just melt your heart. She was a rescue/rehab project of ours and we feel she is ready to find her forever family. This mare thrives on attention and affection.

Belle is a clean slate as far as training goes. She knows how to lead, load and stand tied. She will stand for blanketing and to be brushed. She is NOT broke to ride or drive (yet!). She needs some confidence and work on picking up her feet and holding them for the farrier. If she does not find a home by January 15th 2024 she will be staying with us for 30 days of training and try again, but her price will increase with training!

She is easy to catch. She does well with every horse or group i have put her with. She does not allow others to bully her but she is also not one to go out of her way to harass another horse. She is happy to mind her own and occasionally makes a buddy to pal around with.

Belle is currently on a feeding plan with healthy weight gain in mind. She currently gets 2 full scoops (3qt scoop) of Bluebonnet Omega Force grain 2X a day with unlimited grass hay and 4-6 flakes of alfalfa per day. This is working really well for her!

She is located in De Soto, Missouri at our facility.
